MAYALAND OF GIANTS
Guests use teamwork, problem solving and other skills to achieve the tasks. The group is divided into several teams. Teams compete against each other in rounds of fun, and low impact team building activities. Points are posted after each round. After the final round of competition, teams are brought together to compete simultaneously in a final activity. And overall winner of the TEAM BUILDING QUEST is announced.
After the overall winner is announced the teams are brought together and debriefed by your trainer to stress the importance of what was learned during the activities and reminded to utilize these new skills when they return to the office.
The following are sample activities
PIPE LINE PASS : Teams must use communication skills and cooperation to successfully achieve the tasks. Participants use specially designed PVC pipe sections to pass balls from one person to the next. Balls should be successfully directed into a bucket located approximately 40 feet away.
GIANT SAND SKIS : Team members must use communication skills and cooperation to successfully achieve the task. Participants stand on two long planks. As a team they must walk in unison, once they reach the mark the other participants make a relay to return to the start/finish line.
WACKY POOL RELAYS: Team members must wear a waist lifesaver and flippers to reach the floating base where they must grab a coin and return in to the start line in a relay form. Team with more coins wins.
GIANT PUZZLE: This brainteaser tests each team's ability to work together to solve a pair of complex puzzles using deductive reasoning.
GIANT DOMINOES : This giant version of the popular board game will test the ability of your guests to work in teams and plan the strategy to make the opponent's team pass considering that there are only seven chips of each number. A math and strategy craze.
MINED-MAZE: Some team members must rely on others to be guided successfully through the maze.
TELL ME ABOUT IT : Team members must develop a communication network.
LETTERED DICES: Team members roll a group of giant dices with letters drafted in each face. Teams must spell words with the resulting letters. Points are awarded to each letter used.
